The colour handling and calibration of your monitor are at computer and photography geek levels.

 Level up. And this is after about an hour editing seamless white backgrounds to be spotless. Duplicate layer, apply median, apply mask, invert mask, paint out the bad bits with a white brush.

It seems to much more about how good your monitor is and how well calibrated. On my Sony I go 13, on my work monitor 8 and on my surface 25.

I did vastly better on my phone than I did with my cheapo monitor at work.
Its a good test but if the hardware isn't up to the task you're stuffed.
