I've the 3Tb version of that, it's great. I've also got http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00J ... detailpageIf you don't mind setting it flat, it comes in various capacities.

I bought it as an emergency backup device, as I have 1.5 TB of data to shift off an internal drive, but once that's done, I'll try and plug it into the back of the BT HomeHub 5 to see if I can use it as a network drive.

Bought an AC-DC t-shirt that hasn't been stitched right at the bottom of the sleeves, so that's an email... Ordered another snazzy Armani watch. Very nice it is too, only Royal Mail kicked the living sh1t out of the box. So that's another bit of hassle. They needn't fcuk me about! The Batman Arkham Knight game arrived and is currently downloading a 3Gb patch , and that's before I input all the 'DLC' codes. I'm in two minds about the silicone controller covering etc. It all looks excellent, but only when I put on the cover did it become apparent that Sony were very specific when it came to how upraised their controller buttons are... Pure win, actually should have bought it at the time. Still waiting on another one

I'm normally not keen on Predator figures where they go too far away from the movie versions, but some of the recent sets based on the 1990's Kenner line* have been brilliant. * You maybe remember some of the Alien toys from that time https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=kenne ... 43#imgrc=_I really hope they do an Aliens set similar to the Preds since they've been so successful; I never owned any of the originals but loved the designs. Alien that came out of a gorilla FTW!

Microsoft Lumia 630. So good, I bought 2.
My wife's old Nokia Lumia 620 died this week, so I ordered a 630 for her. She really likes it and the eldest daughter wants one as well, so another one ordered (her old Nokia Lumia 700 is no longer supported - only Windows Phone 7.5 - and the battery is on its way out).
Thinking of replacing my 1020 as well, but it still works fine and the new features of Windows 10 will only be available on new hardware (Windows 10 will work on the older phones, but the next generation are supposed to have additional hardware to take advantage of new features).

My ATIV S is over 2 years old and I've been thinking about upgrading but I want to see what comes out for Win10 mobile. I'd really like them to bring out a successor to the Lumia 1020 but everything I've read online suggested such a phone is unlikely I'm sure there must be a new 900 series Lumia on the horizon and provided the ATIV keeps going I'm in no desperate rush.

It sounds like 2 quad HD phones at the moment, one 5" and one just under 6", so a 930 and a 1520 replacement. I think the camera resolution is also in the 930/1520 range at around 21 - 29MP. The camera on the 1020 is very good for a smartphone, but the 41 MP resolution also makes it very slow. The WP10 handsets will support a similar continuity mode to the iPhone and OS X, allegedly, but that will be reserved for new hardware.

Bought a Helios-44-2 from eBay (£9.99) so I could grab the front element from it to replace the one on my rarer Helios-44 13 aperture blade model which has seen better days. The thing is the 'new' Helios I just bought looks absolutely immaculate. I'm going to feel bad stripping it down for parts.

Well it would appear that my router was in fact killed a bit by the lightning at the weekend so a new one is on the way from Zen.

Eldest daughter's Lumia 630 turned up today and now the youngest daughter has ordered one as well, to replace her ageing Sony Xperia.
