And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why rusty's career as a stand up comedian never really took off.

I'm sorry, but that's one of the funniest articles I've read for a lot of reasons

I'm still continually surprised at just how much Americans JUST DO NOT pronounce foreign words in a foreign way. Calais, Maine (Callus)

So the other fan I'd reserved for pickup at Maplin yesterday is in stock but a store model, which of course they didn't bother to tell me online. They offered me a fiver off, and I told them to cancel the order. Wasting my fcuking time... The FAIL continued in work too. We've been searching records and emailing back what we've found, where we found it etc. So of course there's inevitably records that can't be found, and I sent back 'unable to find'. I then get a really snotty email back from management saying ' EXAMPLE' and how they'd like me to tell them I didn't find anything, even though I clearly went through the exact same search process for when I did find stuff. So now they get a copy and paste email saying I searched blah blah blah which achieves nothing. Which they knew anyway. There's no logic to that, that's just treating people like dicks.

My Doctors surgery will let me pick up a prescription for mind altering drugs that aren't for me without even asking as much as my name BUT if I want to register to be able to book my own appointments online I have to provide them two forms of ID.

If it's a controlled drug, there should be a register and you should be asked for ID. Otherwise, there's no legal requirement. Online booking is something to do with registering you on a computer system that they have little control over - it's something they have to be able to offer.

I don't know what constitutes a controlled drug I just love that medicines can be handed out so easily but to book an appointment I need to prove to the surgery where I've been going for 10 years who I am.

Don't forget that NHS England are on a mission to route out "ghost" patients - those who've registered with a surgery, have moved on and not registered anywhere new but aren't under the care of the old surgery. The old surgery is still getting money for these patients on their books. So NHS England, in their infinite wisdom, have been sending out letters to patients and if they don't respond, they get kicked off the surgery's books. Great fun until they realise they can't make an appointment because they're no longer registered there all because they didn't get a letter, didn't respond to it or ignored it.
For controlled drugs, there's a register.

So, in the office this morning and that woman pipes up to another colleague "I've been really odd dreams and they've been coming true! I dreamt of a shark last night (I've got a phobia) and there it was on Facebook this morning!" So, the fact it's Shark week wouldn't play into that then? Nah... must be because you're so intuitive and sensitive and magic, clearly.
