Just wondering. Fiancee wanted some cookery books off amazon. They looked promising but when she read through them she realised that they were rubbish and doesn't want them. So I'll have to return them. Never returned anything to Amazon (or anywhere else before).

Process is pretty painless in my experience. Just follow the online destructions and you'll get a shipping label to print out and stick on the package. Don't usually have to pay for return shipping if you're within 14 days of receipt iirc.

Use Amazon's Collect Plus label printout if you have somewhere local to drop it into - Collect Plus website is searchable. You get a receipt saying they've taken it.

My pizza stone decided to break so I replaced it with a cast iron pan. I'll still probably get another stone as they're so cheap but I thought I'd try my cookbook recommended of pan and hob then grill. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00V29TT8M/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1436518346&sr=1&keywords=cast+iron+pizzaUsed it for the first time last night and the results were very good. The surface of the pizza didn't brown as well (my grill is electric and pants!) but the dough was very nice and very very crispy (a thin crust - 160g dough per pizza). I'm still deciding which method I prefer but if you like very thin and crisp pizza the pan method is the one to go for as it crisps up more than it does on the stone.

Got my kids first school report. She's exceeding in every single area. I knew from her being young she was bright but this was something else! Could not be more proud right now.

Breakdown cover - what a scam. Current renewal £220. If I joined as a new customer, £150 for the same thing. Go through quidco and get £50 off that. Do I really have to sit there and play ping-pong between breakdown companies for the best deal?

This different from any other type of insurance how exactly? Loyalty doesn't pay but they make shopping around as much of a chore as possible so you can't be bothered to move.

My car insurance is generally the cheapest because it's for modified cars, so limited competitors. There are two brokers I normally go through and they generally can only ever price match. Home insurance - first time I've bought this so haven't seen what renewals are like.

House insurance can be weird but generally again there is little to no benefit in loyalty. As an example, I used to use Halifax for my home insurance - first year they offered ostensibly good cover at a reasonably price. On renewal they naturally bumped up the price so I had a quick look on price comparison sites, got a better deal and phoned them. They suddenly said I qualified for a loyalty discount which magically reduced my original quote to just under the price I'd gotten off the comparison website so I stuck with them. The following year, pretty much the same thing except this time when I went back with the better price they said they wouldn't match it, what they'd quoted was as low as they could go so I should leave. Spectacular customer service. Naturally I went with someone else.
