Given that the USA helped find both sides at one time or another, I’d say it was evenly matched.

I believe the UK also trained the Taliban using the SAS as teachers... And the British government continues to fund the Republican movement via paying Sinn Fein too

There's a chap that I really don't trust. If he said it was Monday then I'd check.

There's a review of one of his books on Amazon where the reviewer mentions IRA staff meetings and says something like 'The detail is amazing, it's like Adams was actually there!'

Er, well...

Yip, I'm a British Nationalist, though nothing to do with the party of the similar name ;)

EDIT - Just to avoid any confusion, I'll call myself a Loyalist. I'd have said Protestant, but I've no faith  :)

I'm not a nationalist but I'd still like to boot Gerry Adams in the head simply because he's a [LIFTED].

Nothing at all, I just like it.

Mind you, it's nothing compared to the beard of one of the previous headmasters of my school - he was an excellent headmaster, but it must have taken him hours each morning with an exceptionally sharp blade and a straight-edge to get his beard trimmed so damn straight. I used to stand in assembly and wonder how the hell he did it!
