Oh so you know how much Disco spends on shows? Fab! :D

I know how much Eurosport don't spend, because I know how much the broadcast rights they don't win cost. As for Disco, no I don't have an inside knowledge about that. But again, there's no evidence in any of the stuff they do show that they can afford costing anything like Ex-TG will. Hell, they couldn't even afford Fifth Gear until it had fallen though at least two other channels.

But yeah, now you mention it, you must have a better idea than us so... what shows have Disco produced that cost $20m overall to make?

The idea that there is a Disco channel out there fills me with dread.

I'm sure if you did your research on google you could work out how much is spent on commissions.

Don't forget it's not just the Discovery channel and it's sister channels but also Animal Planet, TLC and Oprah Winphrey channel and more.

We're up to 3 billion global subscribers and are in over 220 countries.

Anyway I have a meeting now.

:D

He didn't say anything about Discovery, Carolyn. he said a Disco channel. I'm assuming he means dodgy haircuts, 70's fashions and Donna Summer...

So the boys are off to Amazon Prime?

If true I certainly won't be signing up. I like them but not THAT much!

Doubt I'll care. I didn't mind the colourful jokes but the lazy racism would have seen anyone else rightly sacked after so many instances. Apart from that, it was the same old scenarios month after month.

I dunno about anyone else, but I have no clue as to what this means. Is it a euphemism I'm not aware of :D?

EDIT : Aaaaahhhh!

Ripper Street is on the BBC tonight! Yay! No need for a pesky Amazon TV subscription now. 8-)

Zoe Ball could join Chris Evans on Top Gear team, reports say | Television & radio | The Guardian
http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio ... ar-reports

I really don't want Evans and Ball doing what Team Clarkson did, but apart from that, they'll get blamed for a format that was already going stale. I wonder how far they'll take 'respecting'.
