The missus tried to bake me a cake. We have a gas hob but electric grill/oven and electric fan oven. For some reason, she tried to fit both cakes in the mini-oven rather than the big oven. So one cake had to sit on the floor of the oven. With the result that part of one layer is burnt and crispy. Just had to calm her down, scrape off the burnt bit. We shall see how it tastes later.

I'm baking a cake! I also have a batch of tablet on the go and also a batch of lemon curd.
What could possibly go wrong? :D

Yup.

It worked! It worked! Ah ha ha ha. That's two days in a row it's worked. This does not normally happen.

Doh is me.
So, will be driving up to Scotland tomorrow so went and filled up the car at Tesco so I didn't have to take a detour tomorrow. When I get home and look at the news app on my phone I see an article announcing the the supermarkets will be dropping their prices at the pumps tomorrow. Balls.
Still, got 4p off a litre thanks to the Clubcard fuel save deely so its not all bad.

Windows 10

Its f***ing unusable. I've only been on the desktop 20 minutes and I've had to hack stuff to get back basic functions.

The text in the settings screens is huge. And that white window background...

F***ing woeful

Edit 1:

This UI really is a f***ing disaster. Everything they could have made retarded, they have.

Just took a sip of Diet Coke cos it's been years... it tastes even worse than those frozen cola in plastic tube offerings from the 80s!

Mind you, and no offence should be taken here, it is the English stuff where we're used to local fare.

Your location does say 'the past' - some sort of rip in the space time continuum? Christ, you haven't bought any plutonium have you?
