It seems somewhat reminiscent of Dante's Inferno.

I see Blakey from On The Buses has died. Anyone remember him dying a few years ago?

Given he looked about 70 forty years ago, I was amazed to find out he was still around.

It actually made my journey home much easier because I get on the Mancunian way one junction later . Collapses like that happen fairly often in Manchester. The sewage mains are mostly over 100 years old, haven't been maintained properly and are knackered. If a chunk of it gets undermined by the water table rising in heavy rain or something, it just gives way. This one's bigger that most but I've seen it where a two foot wide trench has just dropped out across a road. Crazy. This one's the more typical size and actually pretty close to whether that one opened up. As I say, happens like once or twice a year.
