Born and bred, I never said now.
Though my beard still has much red hair in it which is quite noticable after about a week and a half growth. (8+)

I vouch that Mark used to sport a Ginger mane.

Ouch.

Perennial problem with the casting of female actors in TV & Film. Basically you play 'hot babe' until you're about 28 and then go straight to 'middle aged woman'. It's bollocks, frankly.

I disagree. There are tons of films featuring older women in brilliant roles. One that comes to mind immediately is one of my favourite actresses Julianne Moore.

Maybe you're not watching the right films

*Shrug* I didn't say the films they were offered were all bad, just said there are few roles for actresses in say their 30's actually playing characters in their 30's. You're either young or old and there's little in between.

<pic of Julianne Moore>

That would be the same Julianne Moore whose last released lead role was a character who had Alzheimer's? Yeah, that really disproves my point...

What's wrong with playing someone with Alzheimer's? It affects people of various ages.

She was also a rock chick Mum in What Maisie Knew.

But still I suppose you're talking about the big blockbuster films that are really great <sarcasm> :D

The last big blockbuster film I went to see was 'Interstellar' and that, frankly, wasn't very good. It did have a red head in it though..

Looks like that and sounds better than she looks. Ruddy hell, she's done well.
