I'd never heard of it either and it looks like a carbuncle, why would I want to view it?

View from it, I think. It's quite tall.

Replaced my offside headlight bulb last night. When I turned the car on to check it was working OK the nearside bulb went.

I was under the impression that bulbs quite often go very close to each other as they've normally been installed at the same time and had the same usage. Still, doesn't diminish it being a bit of a pain in the backside.

Yes, to be fair I did fit them as a pair so it was always likely they'd end their short lives at a similar time. I just wasn't expecting it to be the very second I fit the replacement!

FWIW if you're thinking of fitting Osram Nightbreakers don't expect them to last that long.

I failed to stop drinking last night and failed to go to bed at a reasonable time.

I'm just one big fail #fail

This to me is not a product name I would choose for light bulbs. It suggest they will die exactly when you need them (which is true of any light bulb in fairness).

I've had better results from Philips X-treme range than Osram.

I almost bought Philip Xtreme Vision (+130%) but went with Vision Plus (+60%) as they were a tenner cheaper for the pair and should last longer.

National Living Wage 'may encourage black market payments' - BBC News

Who are you kidding? You shouldn't be in business if your margins are so slim you can't pay frontline staff but can see cash in hand payments as a reality ffs.

Why The NYPD Is Asking People To Boycott Quentin Tarantino's New Movie - CINEMABLEND
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Why-NYPD ... 90437.html

Boycott his movies because, er, he's probably right. And anyone holding up a dead officer as an excuse for the rest needlessly assaulting and killing people...
