Did these people sleep through the thing where Corbyn was recently elected leader with a massive majority (although to be fair it went on so long that not noticing it finished might actually have been possible)? Do they really think it'll completely turn round in a few months? Or are they just all so completely disconnected from reality that they think the people who completely ignored both them and the media last time are somehow going to be persuaded this time, even though absolutely nothing has actually changed?

Labour suspends Corbyn policy adviser Andrew Fisher | Politics | The Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/politics/201 ... licy-chiefThey won't care what it does to the party so long as they get rid of him, and tbf, he keeps giving them very public ammunition.

Corbyn to complain to MoD about ‘political interference’ from army chief | Politics | The Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/politics/201 ... ce-tridentHoughton's never off that show - it's a fine line between a public interest interview and a platform to spout propaganda. FFS, today they had three guests reviewing the newspapers. Usually it's a journo and a party member or affiliate, or two journos. Today, two journos and a UKIP member. Which suggests there's a bit of manoeuvring behind the scenes. There's then the usual BBC thing of an interview to enable a plug - fine on a chat show, not a show primarily about news and politics. Anyway, getting back to Houghton. In this instance he was answering legitimate questions, but the real issue is should he even be on TV at all if, as Corbyn suggests, he's supposed to be neutral. Short of a scandal or crisis of conscience, of course.

As observed in the comments, it seems in quite bad taste to criticise someone for being insufficiently warlike on Remembrance Sunday.

Well, yes. Everyone is reminded of “lest we forget” but fails to remember the “never again” bit. Oh, yes. Corbyn didn’t bow properly, used the wrong angle, failed to be respectful, etc.. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015 ... nce-sunday

As a tweet I saw this morning put it
The Sun : "He didn't bow far enough!" Everyone else : "You hacked the voice mail of dead soldier's families."

The Telegraph even got an "etiquette expert" to say how much of a bow he should have done. Oh, and what he wrote on his wreath was wrong too. Apparently, it's not the done thing to think about the victims of all wars. You have to just think about the British ones.
