That show is awful. Where Sons of Anarchy was about interesting Californian motorcycle gangs riding around betraying each other and then seeking revenge. TBE is about boring Welsh [LIFTED], walking around, betraying each other and then seeking revenge.

I like Peep Show but Chanel 4 have turned what was a relatively good streaming app into an advert riddled mess imho. So much so that I can't bring myself to use it any more.

It was certainly a disaster on the PS3 but that's the only place I've used it.

Arrow - A good episode, though they still really need to sort out how they're shooting fight scenes. Technically everything's brilliant, bar the visual disconnect where it looks like it was shot for YouTube in comparison to the rest of the show :?

Flash - Another decent effort, but they're still using it to build up Legends. Though this episode was a great example of just how well the show does character moments. Even if the women are so compliant it's actually becoming sexist.

Gotham - One of it's better attempts, but it's introduced so many characters (and continues to do so) that you can tell when someone won't make it 'til the end of the programme never mind the run. Also I've noticed regular characters just disappear from episode to episode now, and nobody even questions it!

SHIELD - Very good, really starting to go somewhere again.

I've found the All4 app to be an incredibly frustrating experience when streaming to my AppleTV from my iPad.
It constantly crashes, reverts back to just displaying on the iPad and after an advert section will either start the entire episode again from the start or will just revert back to the beginning of the previous section. *sigh*

Bloody hell, no wonder Netfllix/Amazon are doing so well. The broadcast TV this weekend has been absolutely bloody woeful. I paid some attention to Doctor Who but other than that there hasn't actually been a single program worth taking the time to watch.

Jessica Jones - I'm 5 or 6 episodes in, and like Daredevil before it, it goes all slightly unnecessary with the mood and dramatics for three episodes before settling down into something that won't alienate the average punter. At the beginning it especially feels like they're trying to shock you with GoT-style violence and sex - a bit off-putting when you'd much prefer the story moved a bit quicker. And that's partly because the lead isn't exactly a likeable character compared to... well, almost anyone who is leading a major TV show. Must state that this is slowly getting better as the series moves on! (This is all now a standard problem when it comes to shows about 'capes' for some reason)

The similarities to Daredevil are multitude (very slight spoilers ahead)....... A villain who initially is only referenced in mutterings and whispers, partially shown etc. Said villain being almost the sole focus of the series. Mentions of the wider Marvel universe, and taking the piss out of the comic book inspiration. The use of the media as background-building... I personally was hoping it would be at least slightly different to Daredevil, but so far it's the exact same thing with less interesting action scenes.

Look, don't get me wrong, it's watchable and not a bad show at all. But I just haven't taken to the hero and villain the way I normally do with these things, and it all feels slightly bland because I've seen so much of it before. All that said, it is getting better as I reach the halfway point. Also, the female demographic's apparent enjoyment of a psycho bloke being investigated by a cold, messed-up woman should see this in good stead ;)

I'm a few more episodes into JJ and I'm still not blown away. It has all the right elements but just feels dragged out, and I still find JJ dull because she doesn't exactly light up the screen.
