Batman's one of the all-time classic and recognisable characters, up there with Superman, Mickey Mouse and Ronald McDonald EDIT - I can't believe our top two are (so far) Adam West and Del-boy

Granted many were sh1t or just average at best, but Batman '89, the animated movies and the recent Bale films have all been brilliant IMO. EDIT - And how cheesy was West?

Random trivia: I know one of the blokes that played Ronald McDonald in the adverts. It's quite ironic that he got the gig, given that he is one of the most miserable b@stards I've ever met!

Adam West FTW!
I grew up with him and for me he was the perfect Batman. All the others are just impersonators.

It's looking like we're gonna have to declare him the winner short of some last ditch voting over the next few days (I had completely forgot about this poll )...

Keaton for me. Bale's almost there, but the way Keaton played Bruce Wayne pips it for me.

I was gonna declare West the winner there (what the hell is wrong with you people anyway? ), but people still seem to be voting, so I'll leave it a few days or so

Is there a way of 'properly' declaring the end of a poll? It seems Adam West has won (an argument against democracy if ever there was one ), the mad old git

Not necessarily (and sorry I'm late) I voted Bale because when I see Keaton I can't help but remember Multiplicity. [/shudder]
