Barely, you might actually enjoy it because it's more of a woman's tale relatively speaking.

How sexist. I might like blokey stuff lol :)

I may try it although I have other things to watch at the moment

There's a little bit of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in the vibe of it, but I don't wanna overstate that.

I also need to finish it...

Regarding the sex and violence, it all feels too in your face compared to Daredevil. And it didn't hold back, it's just that Jones has a more sinister thing going on.

I don't mean to keep making DD comparisons, it's just so much of the pacing etc is similar.

Given this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4230076/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_1

It may actually be deliberate that they've pitched them at roughly the same level, means neither then has to make a weird shift when they come together.

Defenders is the Avengers of the TV-verse, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are meant to be joining Jessica Jones and Daredevil.
I guess the tones of the shows all have to match-up like the individual films of Iron-Man, Captain America, Thor and what have you.

Could The Flash And Supergirl Crossover Happen After All? - contains a major Flash spoiler
http://www.cinemablend.com/television/C ... 01837.html

I haven't got watching the last two Supergirls since I wanted to see them in their correct order, but I hate that it's relatively struggling. It would be fantastic to see it crossover. Berlanti is DC TV's Kevin Feige. It's just a pity nobody offered him Gotham as he'd have had pretty much the whole toy box. Arrow uses all Batman's best side villains anyway I spose :D

So it's another superhero show?
No, it's not a superhero show, it is a show that just happens to have people with powers in it.
As I said in my review above, it's less about the superheroism and more about the emotional impact of a severe trauma inflicted on a number of characters, but one in-particular.
If you have a prejudice against all things fantasy and superhero, then the few elements that encompass that will likely not be for you, but you certainly don't have to focus solely on those things when watching it.

The Morning After The Night Before, On Supergirl And Constantine - potential story arc spoilers
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2015/11/27/ ... nstantine/

How could they not have known how expensive LoT would be? Cancelling it instead of just planning a cheaper season? All sounds mad to me.

replace it with a totally different show for it.

Unless that's outside a comic book show, that's gonna cost even more I'd have thought.

If you can't understand the distinction I outlined above, you don't deserve to be watching it. (8+D

After waiting several weeks since its series debut, CBS finally gave its new DC Comics series Supergirl the news that fans have been waiting for. This morning, the network gave Supergirl a seven episode order for a total of 20 episodes for the first season. While it’s not the traditional 22, CBS is still referring this episode order for Supergirl as a “full season”.

Excellent. There's the odd logic leap with it and any sort of romance is handled terribly, but it's getting better show by show. It's freak of the week currently, but that's because they've got an arc going on if the recent few episodes are anything to go by. What really worked in Arrow is being deployed here.

Gotham - Another good episode! The show is finally getting it's sh1t together, it just needs to stop relying on plot convenience. 'It's as well my man was following you.' Yes, yes it is.

SHIELD - Good episode. Mad, but good.

Flash - This is one of the major precursor episodes to Legends, so it goes mental. Logic pretty much goes out the window and there's so much plot convenience going on it's really glaring.

Gotham - I honestly don't know where to begin. You'll laugh your head off at this episode for all the wrong reasons. Contains one of the craziest lines of dialogue in a TV show ever. And Gotham was the previous record holder, so...

After a few episodes where the story was actually going somewhere, it's all been totally abandoned. And I mean all. SPOILER Central link below, but if you don't care it'll give you a right laugh.

Arrow - Again, loads of truly dumb plot convenience, and if they'd just taken a few seconds more in places it would have made a lot more sense. Real mixed bag this episode. Great villain, decent fight scenes made laughable by the need for a crossover episode, or MOST of the characters making an appearance... Brilliant to utterly dire dialogue. Frustrating.

Supergirl - Continues to be brilliant, hasn't had even a crap episode never mind a bad one. And yet this is the one they're allegedly gonna prop up with one of the other DC characters. It's a total shame it didn't happen before MoS cos Warner Bros. might have realised Zack Snyder was a useless hack and that you can film in glorious colour.

In the interests of making sure I only stay at the very bleeding edge of current TV, I have started watching Fringe. It's quite good so far, the biggest weak spot for me being Anna Torv who plays the main FBI investigator. Couldn't tell you exactly why, but she just doesn't seem to fit the role properly.
