I thought casting Brandon Routh would be a good move, but is he not in some other show at the moment (a quick IMDB check shows he is, and was also in Arrow as another character, so that's him out). If Supergirl tied in to Smallville, that would mean that all the current TV shows (Arrow, Flash, whatever-else) couldn't possibly cross-over, as those main characters were in Smallville already, and that would complicate things a little too much for the current viewers, I think. Not to mention that there was also a Supergirl in Smallville too ... I would like to see Tom Welling play Superman properly, I think 10 years as Clark Kent he deserves to properly be seen in the super-suit and not just at the end of the final episode of his own show. He played a young Clark Kent really well. Mark

I agree with seeing Welling in the role of Supes.

Does Ch5 have a catch-up service? I'll be working the night of the first ep, but could watch it during my break later in the shift. Mark

It seems Ch5 has Demand5, so hopefully I'll be able to watch it online after the broadcast.

They're reshowing the beginning of series 5. Should be showing 'new' episodes any day now. If you haven't seen it it's fab! Louis and Harvey... well!!!

Love Suits. Louis started off really likeable but I don't really like how things have turned out in S5 so far. Always a fan of Harvey especially the styling. I love Scrubs' Laverne (is it Gretchen?).
