I'd much rather set aside an evening and watch a few episodes, (or a series) back to back. A glass of whisky, (or two) a tub of popcorn, (not so much since this bloody diet kicked in) and an evening of chillin' in front of the box. Heaven!

Watched the first episode of Luther last night (my usual prompt viewing schedule coming to the fore there I think). It seems pretty promising so far, although I think it was the guilty party that stole the show in the first episode rather than Idris.
Also watched the most recent episode of Castle. I can only assume that the normal writing team have been replaced by a bunch of gibbons bashing at keyboards, because it was absolutely [LIFTED] awful.

As do we, but sometimes real life gets in the way. Watched four episodes of The Blacklist and three episodes of the DC Legends thing the other night.

What do you make of Legends, John? In three episodes there hasn't been much substance or plot IMO.

It does seem very samey, but I'm sticking with it, as it does show some promise. I'm just hoping that they don't try and put this up against anything from Marvel, as I don't think it would, and there's really no need. I have, however, given up on Mr Robot after three episodes. No redeeming qualities at all, in my opinion. Don't bother asking me the names of any of the characters, as I don't know and, rather sadly, don't care.

Forever is still good. One more episode to go but I've really enjoyed it.

Anybody else watching Quantico? Just watched the first episode, and it looks promising.

I posted this on Fb a couple of days ago, but it bears repeating here - Ash vs. Evil Dead is everything a fan of the original films could want from a TV show continuation of the story. Simply marvellous.

That has all kinds of fail written all over it in my opinion. As much as I like both the main presenters, it just screams 'geek culture cash-in' to my mind. I hope I'm wrong, I really do. I was surprised Ted never showed up in S1. I liked the first season soooo much. Mark

It's on my list of things to watch, glad to hear it's showing some promise.

Agent Carter - Fast becoming a comedy, which is fine, except when it falls noticeably flat. Other lines are great! Flash - Some dire character beats this week, including an absolute clunker from someone who only even pops in occasionally . But that's OK, nobody cared! Possibly because there's no recovering from a third rate villain even by this show's standards, and some truly crap dialogue. This show really needs to get it's act together. So far it's just been a load of fanboy service to hide a dragged-out plot. It's a much better show than this. Legends of Tomorrow - Worst episode yet, and the others haven't been great. Again, no real plot, just pointless bickering and violence to fill the time - we're barely any further on than last week. Hell, even the first episode , and they're just rehashing plot points that Arrow and Flash have already abandoned! WTF is going wrong with superhero TV recently?
