Er, another sh1t month by the look of it. FFS, at least put on some of the converted PS2 games or something, anything but more indie debris.

The PS3 games are if anything worse than the PS4 ones. One the is seven years old. It's not just a bad month, it's probably the worst collection of titles they've ever featured.

I know, for about three months I've thought about writing off the next payment. It's not like you're even getting good demos.

Bloody stupid idea. Although apparently MS started the whole thing in fact - they're pretty much never going to catch up Sony in sales terms this generation so they was the next one to start as soon as possible and if they can get the jump on Sony again the way the 360 did with the PS3, they'd be very happy to.

Personally I can't see anybody being in the mood to buy a new console (or even spend a couple of hundred quid on an upgrade add on) just to get 4K graphics, given most people don't have a 4K TV yet anyway.

Can't help thinking of the sh1tty add-ons Sega had, like the CD and 32X...

There aren't enough good games for the PS4 now, nobody has a 4K TV and nobody will ever know such a system exists because Sony don't bother promoting their best stuff never mind a bad idea... It's incredible that they'd believe anyone would buy a new system this early and after so little to shout about with the previous one. The franchises that kept console sales alive are even dying off after they were run until the engine exploded.

Speaking of games, the developers can't even make functioning ones today! What's gonna happen with a two-tier system when they traditionally cut corners as it is?! Don't even get me started on game prices as they stand now...

Another useless update for a lot of people then...

You're kidding, right? Playing your PS4 on your laptop or whatever (which I've tried and it actually does 'just work')? FINALLY getting notifications when your friends come online and the ability to appear offline? Being able to do your own stuff with your friends in the event calendar?

Yeah, if you live alone in a basement with no friends and just a PS4 and a massive TV, this update is no use to to you. Otherwise it's arguably the most useful patch they've ever released.

I was kidding, I'd been wondering how much attention people pay to the updates or click the source link lol, sorry.

The USB music player thing got mentioned in the PS Access 'Things you need to know about the 3.5 update' video if not in the PS blog article. PS Access is well worth a sub btw, they do really good stuff. Most of which is not much to do with promoting Playstations.
