From what I gather, these laser pointers aren't available specifically in the UK (ie I can't go to Tescos and buy it) but are imported through the likes of ebay.

If the high powered ones aren't for sale here, I'd have thought making them illegal to own would be fairly straight forward. As long as they don't try to ban the low powered laser pointers.
