It's certainly open to the possibility.
It'll be interesting to see who shows interest in the company.

I read somewhere that Yahoo also hosts a lot of the cloud infrastructure, so what happens to peoples data if the company gets broken-up?

The world and it's wife wants cloud architecture and services these days, I imagine it'd become it's own entity.

Yahoo offer hosted solutions to a lot of companies. They've got a separate company in the group that owns that infrastructure.
