She is the person responsible for the design of the new Honda NSX, and a recent graduate apparently.
So bit of a brain and an understanding of practical technical aesthetics.

Also, she's rather lovely.

I'd still rather have that original NSX than that new beast.

The new one looks like a squashed Civic from the front... :?

I prefer the old one as well.

I agree with you both, but she's done a pretty good job of it considering the original concept version, which didn't have to worry about the various legalities of things like pedestrian impact laws.

Sad to say, it's probably something they'll only do once. Laudable as it is, commercial pressure will out. People generally don't want 'real world' in magazines, either men's or women's, if you think about it. Vogue and GQ, SI and Cosmo, are all selling an unachievable dream. Presenting people with what they already know/have isn't going to get them want to buy the magazine.

It's a step in the right direction.
I've been shooting with a director from LA this week, and she was showing me what passes for 'normal' in LA in terms of female model/actresses.
Over here, we'd say 'malnourished'.

Oh that's undoubtedly true and needs to stop. But you're not going to routinely get Vogue putting a size say 9 model on the front cover month to month, despite that being a perfectly normal healthy way for a woman to be. They will always be relatively young, relatively slim and relatively beautiful.

The lady on the left was on Ellen this week. She's been a plus sized model since she was 16 and has had pressure to slim down but has never done it. Good for her as she is really lovely as she is.

Sarah Keith-Lucas is doing the weather this morning on BBC News in a dress which is.. well, I suspect she's having to breath quite shallow.

To wit (ah, the wonders of remote desktop)..

It does seem like the female BBC weather presenters have been told to glam it up a bit - less suits, more cocktail dresses.

I nearly spluttered my drink all over the lounge the first time I heard this weather forecaster's name:

BBC financial reporter Victoria Fritz today in her 'geek chic' spectacles.

I don't have a photo of that, but this is what she looks like without them...

Here you go, from another forum

She did a report in leather trousers one day and I imagine quite a few people were late for work lol
