**************** S P O I L E R S **************** In some ways, disappointed. TBH I imagined it'd go down this route. There's no way someone like Mike would have made it as a lawyer. That was obvious very early on, I think when Jessica told him about it (way before the junior partnership thing). I loved the first few seasons - the style, the wit, the jokes etc. It was awesome. But it's grown since. And it's grown to the point where something big was going to happen. I originally imagined Jack Solov being the new Daniel Hardman, or maybe some other new challenge. But it's like they nuked it. Back to square one. They've essentially destroyed what Suits was and are probably going to take it in a different direction. There's almost no chance that Pearson-Specter-Litt is ever going to come back as its current entity. I think that's what makes me sad. On the other hand, it'll be interesting to see which way things go. Mike will need to stay in prison for at least part of a season (and more than just a couple of courtesy episodes). Harvey will probably try and get him out but what else will he do? I doubt any law firm would take him on. Jessica - probably the same - might not have a future as senior/head partner of any firm. I wonder if she'll join Robert Zane. Rachel - she's pregnant and will probably stay loyal to Mike. No idea what'll happen to Donna. Gretchen was amazing and would love for her to stay in the show. **************** E N D O F S P O I L E R S ****************

Watched this week's Gotham last night. Michelle Gomez was in it, playing a Missy-like character.

Christ, didn't realise the UK was that far behind. In terms of the US that run ended a while ago, and is now two weeks into the next. There was a fantastic focused episode but allegedly it's back to throw all the sh1t at the screen and see what sticks.

The first season followed the US more closely, even with the mid-season break. I guess it's all going to run together. I enjoyed that episode. The connections between Ed Nygma and Penguin being forged.

Those two are great, as are many of the villains, but 'jumping the shark' and 'nuking the fridge' don't even come close to describing the complete lack of giving a [LIFTED] that is the story conclusion.

SHIELD - Nothing spectacular, just back to getting it's ducks in a row. Makes you realise this show probably has too many characters at this point. And they're introducing new ones.
Gotham - It's still descending into incredibly dumb behaviour and seriously OTT ham and cheese to get the job done, but at least the last two episodes have been consistent plot-wise. That's a miracle for this show FFS. Oh, and some of the FX work deserves a lot of praise, putting some films to shame.
Legends of Tomorrow - The dumbest episode of the show yet just after it had finally found it's feet. It's own rules go out the window scene to scene apart from anything else. This was like a crap episode from a kid's cartoon where one side of the production hadn't came through in time or something.

CW Renews All Their Genre Shows For The 2016-2017 Season http://sciencefiction.com/2016/03/11/cw ... 17-season/Legends needs a lot of work - currently it doesn't matter what happens in it, it has next to no consequence either for the show or the viewer... it'll just be ignored and it's on to the next fight scene.

Gotham - it's still full of 'whatever will get us to the next scene' (having to physically cash a paycheque in this day and age? HR just giving out employee details? And that's just the minor nonsense), but it still remains focused and is actually going somewhere with distinct plotlines. Oh, and there's some brilliant character scenes.
SHIELD - Again, a focused episode, but they're really gonna have to drop some characters and it looks like they're building up to it...
Supergirl - Had it's first real 'that makes no sense AT ALL' character moment and this was very much a contrived episode to introduce new dynamics and no doubt that upcoming crosssover. It was still good TV, but a bit contemptuous of the viewer.

I wonder how many people pay for Sky TV but don't already have the sports channels.I imagine it's a relatively limited number tbh.

Really? Adding the sports package increases the monthly bill by £25.50 (for new sign-up's anyway). You have to be pretty nuts about something in that package to make it worth that much, but then I don't watch sport generally so what do I know I realise that deals are often better for existing customers (especially ones threatening to leave) but doubt they actually have much wiggle room on the cost given what they must be paying out for the TV rights to the various bits and pieces.

More the point that if you don't want the stuff that's exclusive to Sky - which is pretty much entirely sport these days - why would you bother paying for it at all, rather than just getting freesat/freeview?
