I've read this a couple of times now and I don't get it. At all. Looks like that one fell flat

I believe it's an 'Airplane' reference. And quite a good use of it, to be fair.

Mother dearest wanted a set of hair straighteners at just the right time from Tesco Direct - £10 off a £75 spend when these were combined with my latest Lego set, plus I got to use up a chunk of my boosted points so it was totally free http://www.tesco.com/direct/lego-super- ... pageLevel=

So as part of the new extension it seems that you cant use the same old furniture (So SWMBO says and who am I to disagree) – anyway we purchased some new sofas and they were delivered the other day
Due to a couple of cock-ups by the Company and the fact that I found a small rip he hoofed it down to the showroom
Up shot is that the stuff we ordered about 12 weeks ago is now on sale – given the rip I was able to “reject” the whole order (under the nice new consumer act) agree to keep it (bar the ripped sofa which they will replace) and save £700
I can now put that to the new TV fund – well if you can’t keep the same furniture then you can’t keep the same TV (although for some reason SWMBO does not seem to follow the same logic here)

A TV *IS* an item of furniture, isn't it?

I think she might be comming round - or at least feeling guilty about the amount she has spend on furniture http://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-ue49ks8000-suhd-hdr-1-000-4k-ultra-hd-quantum-dot-smart-tv-49-with-freeview-hd-playstation-now-360-design-uhd-premium/p2621486Although not shown her the price has agreed to look at TV's in John Lewis and I like the look of this anf the saving on the sofa will pay 1.2 the cost so IF I use her "shopping Logic" - now there is an oxymoron if there ever was one - then its only £700

Mind-blowing app Prisma makes Instagram’s filters look lame http://thenextweb.com/apps/2016/07/08/p ... ndblowing/I think that's great, especially the video. ION, multiple email addresses and multiple orders with multiple discount codes FTW

Saw that. It's fantastic.. not teaching as such I suppose but.. pupil management? Maybe? How to keep someone interested and motivated to be part of the process even if it's not really tailored to them.
