This is great, but a ticket to the new X-Men film? Worst thing I've bought in ages

Some horrendous TicTacs - Banana (with Minions packaging) and popcorn flavours. Tbf, they actually taste the way they're described, which of course is never what you expect lol.

Got 20 Sony AA batteries for £1.50 though, and some Frisps :D

On vinyl, dates from 1988.

On a related note, I’ve just found out that Wendy is 50 this year (eeek), and has a new album out with a more harder rock sound (yay!).

Scissors with fridge magnet holder - one of the magnets has been glued in squinty so it doesn't hold.

T-shirts - remember when adult sizes were sensible and not for children? Fcuking sick of that nonsense.

Blue LED 'wand' - great for lighting my ridiculous figure collection for photos.

Various snacks - smashed to hell, email being sent...

Also ordered a small Lego set from Tesco Direct which they've apparently forgotten about.

The latest Private Eye is brilliant too. Oh, the Ernie figure was bought just cos it makes me laugh; it's actually nothing to do with the name!

Magneto does look a bit like Stewie!

Caz is that the first time you've tried CM? Try it with Fanta and ice.

HP Spectre 360. Very nice. The company Surface Pro 3 will be going back shortly, so replaced it (I bought the Surface Pro 3 about 18 months ago and the company bought it off me, with the understanding I could use it privately).

It was a toss-up between the Spectre 360 and a Surface Pro 4, but I found that I used the Pro 3 mostly with the keyboard attached, so the 360° hinge on the Spectre seems more practical - you can use it better on your lap.

Battery life is also very good - over 8 hours from the first charge.

Also bought a Nexus 5X for my wife. Her Lumia 1020 is still going strong (and she prefers it in general), but she only uses Whatsapp and Fitbit on it and both are very unreliable under Windows 10 - Whatsapp seems to decide on a random basis, whether it will give a notification of incoming messages and the Fitbit app keeps losing contact with the Charge HR and you have to restart the phone or deinstall and reinstall the app and sometimes you have to sync 3 or 4 times, before the stats stay in the app. She prefers the interface on Windows 10 to Android, but is happy that she now gets notified when she receives a message and that the Fitbit app works properly - although the Windows 10 version is a lot easier to use... :?

Now TV - Everything we watch is available on either Freeview or Now TV, so I've dumped my SKY HD package.

We barely ever use the record or pause features, so I seriously doubt we'll ever miss it. :)
