While I love these figures, they really need to ditch the bobblehead aspect. One, it barely works or is noticeable. Two, all it results in is off-kilter heads and off-balance figures. It's not like you could even attach these somewhere you'd see the effect!

Anti-Eternia He-Man

Sadly it was a case of buying it now and getting it slightly cheaper, since the box is slightly damaged putting off the true collectors and there's very few of these around now the company has made it's last fcuk up. IIRC it was from a German language He-man story where he was evil; I just love the visual.

That looks awesome and reminds me of Batman Beyond (the black and red).

Not as far as I know (not opening it until I can actually display it somewhere!), they're actually two different swords though they look very similar. I believe the He-Man and Skeletor figures came with swords (separate to the usual ones) that joined together, but I came to the line late and only got Skeletor (gold sword IIRC? Maybe that was the DVD boxset? Christ, my memory these days).

The idea was to buy Hordak too, but the prices were ridiculous even then.

Broken Sword 5 (PS4) - Point and click game - you could stare at some of the 'puzzles' in this for ten years and still not see what the developers want you to do. It wasn't a bad game at the start, but it just got sillier as time went on. For instance, one character will totally rifle a box and you'd think that's it. So it takes ages to realise your second character should have a look just because.

Robin as Batman - It turned up a dark blue colour, when every image looks like this

I'm keeping it cos I don't have a comic book-style Batman, but Funko pictures suck balls

I was also bought this, and it's pretty great, though I've no idea why they used grey joints in places

Hmmm – still open for Best / Worst

New glasses – Varifocals (Feel REAL old I tell you) :(

Before I had glasses that had one eye set for distance and one for reading – and that worked well but my prescription has changed to make that difficult – so trying these

Still I have 30 days to change my mind and go back to re-trying the mixed eyes or even reading / distance glasses

Thing is I wear contact lenses most of the time

I'm 56 so reasonably aged! and have worn varifocals for the last 6years. Normally supplied by a popular high street retailer, this time however I noticed a deal on MSExpert so I thought I would try online via Speccyfoureyes. So far they seem ok and at 1/3 of the normal fee I'm quite happy too.

Private Eye - A bit poo since I'd forgotten it was silly season.

M and M hot choccolate - Much of a muchness, but still better than most.

The Week magazine - always excellent.

An oversized clock that'll look even better in my own place come the time. No pun intended.
