Pressure mounts on PM to respond to Philip Davies' 'feminist zealots' comments | Politics | The Guardian

Women need to be treated better across the board to remove the last traces of an idiotic culture. But it doesn't help when the courts make some fantastically lazy, one-sided decisions on parenting, divorces and settlements... Or some people just insisting women should be present no matter the merit of the candidates or scenario.

Davies has a whiff of Farage about him though, in the sense that he's actually holding back a bit despite appearances...

Tory MP Philip Davies has faced widespread criticism after it emerged he told a conference hosted by an anti-feminist group that Britain’s justice system was skewed in favour of women.

The family courts are.
Sorry, but it's true. When couples get divorced, there isn't a fifty fifty split on access to children. I know many men who's ex partners have used the courts as a weapon, denying visiting, breaching access rights without the courts doing anything to enforce them.

On matters outside family courts however, I see no evidence of things being in women's favour.

I've always found that phrase curious. Why would you have a cake and not eat it?

Yeah, I've never liked it. Even 'eat your cake and keep it' sounds bloody better.
