Put that down to the last series being an utter failure ballsed up by moving it the USA and letting Starz at it, and no one wants to touch it with a bargepole anymore.

That dn Killjoys just blur together - there’s nothing in either show to make them distinct. I think Dark Matter has the edge, but really both are Asylum levels of sic-fi.

I couldn't get on with Killjoys.
I'm a bit disappointed with season two of Dark Matter too - They devoted a lot of episodes to individual characters this season, but it didn't feel like character development. They were more like filler episodes, which doesn't bode well for a show only in it's second season.

They are examples of series that really just washes over me. I watch them, but I’m failing to see anything that makes them stand out. There’s nothing there that would make me feel that I was missing something if either of them didn’t return for a third series. SyFy seems to be trying hard to make original programming, but is currently landing short of anything that grabs.

I saw what I believe was a teaser for 'Humans' series 2 last night. Although it might have been something to do with the 'Westworld' series, they're doing a lot of very similar promos. Possibly may not have any of the cast from the first series in it.

LRM Hot Rumor: Will Netflix Unleash 3 MARVEL Shows In 2017? Will Summer Be A War Zone? — LRM Online http://lrmonline.com/news/lrm-hot-rumor ... a-war-zoneLike every Marvel/Netflix series bar DD season 2, Luke Cage is dragged out for the first half or so but feels like it's getting better. It's certainly not onscreen to see, and so far he's hard to give a crap about. He doesn't say much, there's some seriously stereotypical side characters, and the references to the comic and general dialogue are so crowbarred in... The whole thing so far is just lazy. I'm five episodes in, out of 13. I hate to say it, but for me Daredevil is looking like a fluke. Jessica Jones was drawn out misery in every sense, and amateur hour at that. Cage (so far) almost feels like a bunch of deleted scenes. Ones that were deleted with good reason. Everything is so signposted in this show, right down to later major scenes being previewed at the start of episodes!

Luke Cage - I gave it the mandatory six episodes before making a judgement.
It feels like it has some promise but, jesus christ, it's sooooo boring! They could've easily condensed those six episodes into two or three.
Also watching Designated Survivor - it's ok-ish so far (3 eps), but I have doubts about it's longevity.
Really enjoyed the first episode of Westworld - it started a bit meh, but the last 10-15 minutes really saved it - looking forward to more of it.

I continue to struggle on with Luke Cage, just in the vague hope they've thrown everything at Iron Fist... because it will likely be the Defenders' glue.
Just like recent Superman, they've taken an immensely strong superhero and given him the superpower of angst. Why?! It's 2016, we all know that sh1t has never worked! Even 1989 Batman barely touched on it, never mind decades of experience later!
Marvel seem to want a lazy formula here, where you throw every character and comic reference into the first half before actually getting going in the second. But by then you hate the lead cos they've had nothing to work with! It's absolutely infuriating.
