'Supergirl's' World Will Not Merge With ArrowverseThis pleases me. I've always thought that Supergirl should be a stand-alone in terms of Green Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow/The Flash characters. I didn't even want Superman in the show, as I think that the character of Supergirl is every bit as dynamic as that of her cousin and requires no need of other superpowered beings swooping in to assist her. Former Channel 4 chair: 'UK doesn't need two publicly owned broadcasters' | Media | The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/ ... ael-bishopRemember when competition was the thing? Now it only applies when you're trying to cripple the NHS and schools apparently... In consumer terms there's nothing wrong with 4, so leave it the fcuk alone.

I don't think anyone really considered the BBC and Channel 4 to be in in competition until the GBBO debacle. As for competition between 'utility companies', it always seems a perfectly fine idea when it's party donors that are benefitting but the general public is getting shafted..
There's no particular reason for a country to have two public service broadcasters but there's equally no valid reason for them not to. You can have an many PSBs as you feel like having, there is no 'correct' number.

The Crystal Maze reboot was awesome. Almost exactly the way it used to be.

I really enjoyed it. Loved the appearance by richard obrien as the computer. Stephen Merchant really managed to emulate O'Brien. I noticed they only played two games per zone instead of the usual 3-4. I also figured there would be an automatic lock in. The games themselves were rather simplistic. Loved seeing Mumsie - was it the same actress?

Maureen Lipman, not the original actress.

Spotless is brilliant. Can't wait for season 2.
Really liked Touch as well, but there's only 2 seasons, and doesn't really end very satisfactorily
Don't know anything about Offspring.

How far are you into Offspring? I had to turn off the last episode of 1st series last night as I was falling asleep And I agree with BigRed - Spotless is ace and I can't wait for the next series. Add it to your list.

Offsping is like an Australian Grey's Anatomy but it focuses on a doctor's family more than the hospital

Not that far - the pilot episode and three or four episodes into the 1st season. We are both enjoying it though. I'll check out Spotless and see if it's Watchlist material. Mark

I'm sure you'll like it and Offspring gets better as the series goes on.
