:D - to be fair, he stands more chance of passing that one than any of the other forms of test, I'll bet.

Tell me, Melania, what was it that attracted you to the billionaire Donal Trump?

Republican Donald Trump has refused to commit to accepting the election result if he loses, in the final TV debate against Hillary Clinton.

But then his “the poll will be rigged” narrative at the moment feels a little, err, “Farage” to me.

It's depressing to me that he's still got any support at all when he's basically behaving like a petulant child - everything that doesn't go his way is always someone else's fault. At this stage I'm kind of surprised he hasn't rolled out David Ike to explain about the giant space lizards.
Seriously, is someone that easy to wind up a good choice for a position of such responsibility?
Also, I'm frankly stunned that a presidential candidate who's spoken so warmly about Putin is getting anywhere at all.

If it wasn't so serious and tragic it would be hilarious.

Allegedly her win is such a given that her backers have stopped sending money to her and are now targeting the senate etc.

Oh ffs, you're actually trying to take credit for guessing a coin toss!

How small minded can you get?

Aside from anything else, it might be worth seeing what he actually does before anybody of whatever persuasion celebrates or laments. Remember this : If there's one thing this campaign has shown conclusively it's that President-Elect Trump simply doesn't place any value on the truth. Nothing he has said up to this point is at all a predictor for his possible behaviour in the future. Yes, he said he was going to do this and that. Is there any guarantee he will follow through with any of it? Not one jot.

He may well stick to his word with any given promise he's made, if he sees an advantage in doing so. But if he sees no advantage, he will jettison pretty much any of his pre-election promises with barely a backward glance. Those cheering Trump's appointment may find he doesn't really feel any compunction to give them any of the things they expected to get when they voted for him.

He's not the 'establishment' that has failed to listen to them before, that much is true. But all the evidence suggests he actually cares no more about their lot than the people they hate do, he's just more willing to tell them whatever they want to hear to get elected.

If he does all the things he said he would do, half the country will rejoice, and half will hate it. if he doesn't, half the country will rejoice and the other half will hate it. Either way, I think the one thing we can say for certain is he will also choose the option that most benefits Donald Trump, and nobody else's needs will get a look in.

I think he could be quite easily manipulated by advisors and experienced political operators.
