Hook Jaw is from Action comic, the predecessor to 2000 AD. It was very violent for its time and happily showed a gigantic great white shark tearing people (including children) limb from limb in explicit detail. For some reason the shark has been resurrected and (gulp) re-imagined to bring it up to date. Leaving aside the fact that the hook is in the wrong place (even if it is more logical this way), it appears that you can experience the shark's 'thoughts' too. It's as silly as it sounds.

I knew it was something like that! Comic Heroes had a sampler, that's where I've seen it.

Brilliant interview with Alan Moore, touches on payment for film adaptations, the 'gangsters' who run the comics industry (I agree) and a lot more... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuBFd1rlWWA
