I dunno about it, I really don't. It looks amazing on one level (and oh lord, the music!) and I am intrigued what the plot is, but I'm still very unsure it'll be able to live up to the original.

I'll check the reviews as usual then make a decision. While the original still looks stonking, it's just never grabbed me. I find it quite dull tbh. That's why I'll probably enjoy the sequel more than most, at a guess.

Am I the only one who finds the entire concept of 'The Lego Batman Movie' a bit weird?

I saw the trailer while at the cinema and it looks quite funny

I've been avoiding everything about it since I might try and watch it.

In what way weird? Batman was one of the more amusing characters in the Lego Movie and they don't have to try that hard to produce a story so why wouldn't they. Path of least/low resistance and all that.
Unikitty the movie would have been a bolder project.
