I dunno about it, I really don't. It looks amazing on one level (and oh lord, the music!) and I am intrigued what the plot is, but I'm still very unsure it'll be able to live up to the original.

I'll check the reviews as usual then make a decision. While the original still looks stonking, it's just never grabbed me. I find it quite dull tbh. That's why I'll probably enjoy the sequel more than most, at a guess.

'Logan' Not Set In The Same Universe As The Other ‘X-Men’ And ‘Wolverine’ Film

The Wolverine was boring and those two said it was great, so I have serious doubts.

Crossover will happen at some point, probably when one side needs a boost. Though it has to be said that Marvel has even kept the Netflix shows reasonably separate for newbies.

‘Suicide Squad’ Director David Ayer Says The Film “Has Its Flaws,” Should Have Featured The Joker As Main Villain
http://sciencefiction.com/2017/01/24/su ... n-villain/

Has it's flaws AKA it's a steaming turd. Should have featured Joker? Not if it's that Leto version it shouldn't - he managed to be a truly terrible Joker, something that hasn't happened onscreen EVER. And you directed him, far as anyone can tell.

James Cameron Is Returning To The ‘Terminator’ Franchise’ With Deadpool’s Tim Miller!
http://sciencefiction.com/2017/01/23/ja ... im-miller/

Ironically it might be better left to Miller alone, cos Cameron hasn't made a good film since, what, True Lies? Not to mention his full-on video endorsement of Genysis, the Suicide Squad of Terminator movies.

This actually isn't the case.
Logan is set five years after anything presented in the X-Men films. Same universe as them, just set after them.

In what way weird? Batman was one of the more amusing characters in the Lego Movie and they don't have to try that hard to produce a story so why wouldn't they. Path of least/low resistance and all that.
Unikitty the movie would have been a bolder project.

Maybe They Shouldn’t Have Moved Forward So Quickly: The Cinematic Take On ‘The Flash’ Is Getting A Rewrite
http://sciencefiction.com/2017/01/26/ci ... a-rewrite/

WB don't have a fcuking clue. For a company that prides itself on letting directors do their thing, it's been doing nothing but hiring the wrong ones to start with then second-guessing them!
