im thinking about procuring it through steam, along with counterstrike: source. but ill probably get it after summer hols when EMA kicks in again :EDIT: for the oldies who dont know... Garry's Mod is a program which lets you mess around with characters and items from the Half-Life series of games. most people use it for making huge explosions or, as adam has done, causing great amounts of pain to said characters for the hell of it

I really want Indian food tonight.
I mean really one of the people in the office brought leftovers from last night and it smells gorgeous. I'm starving and my body wants Indian more than life itself tonight.
I wonder how much convincing my Mister will require??

I'm not sure what you're insinuating ..... I usually only get my own way when it's my Misters way as well!!

I've just been made redundant from one of my jobs this afternoon, so I'm already filling in new application forms!
What the hell are you meant to write when it says "What computer software are you familiar with"? It's only for a customer-facing role, nothing technical based, but I am familiar with many pieces of software. Certainly a lot more than I can fit into the tiny box!
Peter.

Loved watching HL2, Portal and the extra episode-y things that Mister played on Steam, well worth it if you like that kind of thing (or just like watching like I do)

MS Office? They probably won't want much more if it's customer contact mainly, although, it could depend on the job, they may use specialist software, any idea as to what it could be?

Don't over promote yourself, if you look too qualified you will be unlikely to get the job

Exactly my thoughts. As mars-bar-man suggested, I think I will stick to the generic "Microsoft Office" answer. Peter.

MS Office suite is usually all thats required for most jobs Unless of course the job requires a specific program knowledge but if its customer facing (do they have jobs your allowed to face away from the customers? ) they probably just want you to know what a mouse does
