Oi! Stop it with the thread hijacking! :D

So, Tom, can I impose on you to liaise with your sister regarding booking a meal?

I suppose we're at the point where we need to find out who definitely can make it to the Blue Vinney on Saturday 15 August. Shall we make it 12.30 for 1.00pm?

Sounds good to me. I can book a table if we can find out numbers. If it's nice, we can sit outside and we shouldn't need to book. They also do baguettes at lunch time if people don't fancy spending much, or don't want to eat too much.

Cool!

So, if you are able to attend for lunch on the date above, shout now so Tom has some numbers for a week or two. Now the Blue Vinny site is live and we can see the menu, have a look around and decide what takes your fancy - or fits your budget. Please also shout if you're allergic to good food, vegetarian or have any other special dietary requirements.

I'm not sure we have anyone who's expressed an interest in attending under the age of 18, have we?

I'm going to take the liberty of stickying this thread for a short time so folk don't miss it. Sorry Nick.

Well, it all depends on what my chauffeur is doing, but I think it's safe to say that myself and my chauffeur will be there, possibly with one extra.
I think another of my friends will also be in attendance with a +1 so that's possibly 4 or 5 people right there.
I'm speaking with my mate in a short while and I'll confirm if they will be in attendance and get back to you.

Mark

I had just made my way into this thread to comment on it being a sticky.

And of course, to say that I'm not able to say I can make it yet, but I'll hopefully be able to confirm when I find out my rota. :)

My mate's not sure if he can make the dinner so it's best to discount him and his +1 for now.

Right, just so's you know, I shall be completely out of internet range for a week before the proposed bash.

So, if you really want to attend and would like food, you need to shout before 8 August. Mind you, you could just turn up, I suppose.

:D

I don't mind dealing with sorting out the food/pub booking while you're out of range, Heather. However, if it's more than 8 wanting full meals, they'd need to know about a week beforehand anyway with a pre-order.

I spoke to a friend last night, and she reminded me I'm meant to be going along to Thruxton on the weekend of the 15th/16th to attend some racing.

I'm not sure what the preferred date is yet, but I'll see if we can make that trip the sunday, then I can see you lot on the saturday.

That would be most excellent. I'd really be pleased if you could come along. :)
