Excellent actor and IMO probably the best character in Frasier.

Eddie was a bit too "free spirit" for my liking. But clearly the second best character on the show.

Great actor, seemed like a genuinely nice guy too. I never fully appreciated how well written and acted Frasier was at the time, only after watching repeats on Ch4. Born in Blackpool and raised in Withington (Manchester) I believe, so very local to me.
+1 for Eddie though
