I watched the first episode of Happy! on Netflix.
WTF is going on?!?
Yes, I know it's based on a Grant Morrison comic, which helps explain some of it, but the rest is just batsh!t crazy off-the-wall insane.

Oooh, that will be good if they can pull it off. I'm just waiting for Season 3 to materialise on Netflix. I suspect if Amazon do manage to buy it up that Netflix will be losing out. Still, I've got Prime so it doesn't really matter.

I've started watching Legion (the TV show). I'm not many episodes in yet, but I'm finding it bonkers brilliant.
I was aware of it only in passing. I didn't know what it was about, who was in it, how many seasons of it there were ... literally nothing.
I'd seen it mentioned in headlines on sites I visit, but other than that, it had completely passed me by.
Anybody else here watch it?
What are your thoughts on it?

 With the over abundance of sport on TV over the summer, and no other channel being bothered with anything decent for those of us who find the whole knocking a ball about tedious and dull, I signed up with Netflix.
Been having fun, though the hot weather seems to have been affecting my concentration a bit.
Star Trek Discovery - surprisingly enjoyable, if you accept the Klingons being odd and totally unlike anything in canon. I read that they’ll be back in series 2, and different again.
The Expanse - I like it, but I find it hard going at time. I think it needs more concentration than I could give series 1. I might rewatch when I get to the end of series 2. Looks like anything beyond series 3 will be not be on my list though.
Better Call Saul - really enjoying this one. It’s a real slow burner, and it’s very well done. It’s better than I expected it to be, to be honest.
Stranger Things - again, liking this, but for some reason I’m not watching it as frequently as the others on my list.
Lost in Space - the reboot. Not sure about this. It feels like they are doing it for the sake of doing it. Maybe series 2 will be better.
We’ve also been watching the old She-Ra and He-Man cartoons for laughs. Who knew She-Ra had an origin story? I don’t think we got that here.
