i start a new full time job next week its only taken 8 months
nothing fantastic just a job in a brand new supermarket that is just about to open …

8 months is quite a while. I hope you enjoyed the time with your family, and lets hope the new job works out well. If it's not that great, then at least it pays some bills and you can always keep looking for a better opportunity.
