Went to Blackpool for a few days. Aside from going to the shops, and going out for a walk, which lasted about two minutes as it started raining, we stayed in the hotel room, just relaxing and recharging our batteries. Afternoon all, Hope you're all staying safe. I wonder how many trick or treaters we're going to get this year...? There's two things I can name right now that this pandemic has been good for : WFH and no trick-or-treaters. Given that we may still be in lockdown (or some state thereof) at Christmas, I may be able to add lack of carol-singers to this list. Mark

Not a single trick or treater this year. Thinking about it, I don't think we had any carol singers last year... let's hope the trend continues! Afternoon all. Working from home has it's advantages... Yeah, not much going on. It's been one of those years, hasn't it.
Well, Best Beloved and I got hitched. It's only taken us 30 years, but it's official now.
I don't visit here very often nowadays. I don't sit at the pooter all day like I used to. My bad, really. I miss the banter.

Evening all.
I suppose it had to happen. After spending nigh on a year and a half being paranoid, wearing a mask to the shops, using enough sanitiser to sink a battleship, not going anywhere I shouldn't be going, (to visit family and friends, etc) of course I have tested positive for Covid. Bloody marvellous!
Luckily, I'm fully jabbed up, (AZ) and it doesn't feel any more serious than a heavy cold, but still... GAH!
