You'll need Flash enabled.
I had difficulty distinguishing between contempt and disgust, I was pretty good at guessing the other ones.

Damn things flash too quickly for me to see them.

So I got bored after the second face. 8-)

You can select the number again to redo the flash.

Very true, but after the umpteenth subliminal flash, and choosing the wrong expression twice, I gave up. I only got the first one right after trial and error.

I just get a jitter on this screen, the second image isn't actually displayed fully...

Same here. Didn't flash up long enough for me to really see them so I just guessed. About 8/10 right.

Uhm, that's the point. It's your ability to judge emotion on fleeting expressions that someone may be trying to suppress.
Handy for meetings, which is, I suppose, why it's on the CIO.com site.

I know how it is supposed to work, but it is just looking like a torn image for a fraction of a second, like an old VCR with a dodgy tape, you get only half the image displayed...

I got three wrong.

It's quite odd. For the ones that I get right, I couldn't explain why I thought the answer I chose was correct. It's cool really. :D

I think some of them look like 'acting to express anger' rather than actually angry, I'd say it's a pretty pointless test, body language is more than just facial expressions, usually what somone says and the way they say it is enough, no one really furrows their brow and purses they're lips when they're angry do they, usually more subtle than that.
