Hi, is there a way to get IE7 AND IE8 on Windows XP at the same time? I have an app called Multiple IE, which lets me run IE6 along side the more recent browser, but given that IE7 and IE8 handle things differently, I’d like to be able to continue with those two as well. Multiple IE is no longer in development.
Suggestions?

There are a couple of web sites offering virtual browsers for testing. I can't remember the names off the top of my head, but there was a similar thread on it recently.

Ideally, I’m wanting something more local as there is Flash and JavaScript to consider. I also test sites locally, not from a remote server as it’s usually quicker. A screen grab doesn’t offer me much help to be honest.

They run locally on your desktop, but in some sort of sandbox...

Link to other thread. Only other thought would be virtual machines. http://www.x404.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1316

I have a virtual machine - but this app seems to do the job too: http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePageSo I’ve downloaded and installed that in my current Windows XP VM.

Managed to get hold of a friend at my former employers. They used Xenocode's virtual browsers, but it isn't robust and is a little buggy, they've gone back to using virtual machines for testing.
