I'm going to have a go at this later on.
It needs to be simple, yet complex, and keeping witht he forum colour scheme. Ohhh I'm going to have so much fun with this. Out comes the Graphics design module!

I kinda like the idea of black, grey and yellow. Don't ask me why. But it's kind of like a warning scheme, so goes well with the x404 which is an error code? AM I RITE?!

X404 is what you make of it. a 404 is an error (page cannot be displayed), it's also a geek term for someone who's not quite there.
X on the other hand could mean eXtreme, or awesome or just 10 or maybe it's just something that's short that sounded cool

Steve, the mouse should be pointing right not left as it is. Edit: to get the right name of the designer and to say it's a lovely design. That is all perfectly fine and I can change the colour scheme to match. As a note about the designs, it might be better that a person presents a whole page with their preferred design scheme colours and the logo in the top area. Also is makes my job so much easier.

 Okay so this is what I've come up with, t might not be as good as the guy above with th whole "looking like a computer" thing! , but I think it might sit better as a forum header.
