clicky

MS has been at the laughing gas again and is making claims that will all most certainly fail to materialise.

Quote:
Microsoft is promising that the forthcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 will offer a better mobile-browsing experience than the iPhone.

I thought Windows mobile came with Opera? Granted I've not seen many Windows mobiles, but all of the ones I have seen haven't had Internet Explorer...

+1, my Omnia uses Windows Mobile 6.1, and browsing the web on it is far from pain-free. Browsing the internet on my iPod Touch however, is a dream.

That is because it is an Omnia

If they fix some of the issues in the latest beta of Opera Mobile it will be nicer (does safari on iphone support tabs natively?)

The mobile on 6.5 (IE anyway) is much nicer than it has been, and Fennec looks pretty cool too with plugin support

Opera can come with the phones....it's down to the manufacturer/carrier though

There's nothing wrong with the Omnia, it's a damn sight better than most of the other [LIFTED] passing for smart phones these days. :?

Yep, well it supports multiple open pages. You press a button and can scroll through all of your open pages and press any of them to maximise it.
