I want my pandemic back, dammit!
I just did a quick scan of the BBC News web site. I found hardly any mention of swine flu, apart from old news on the Health, Education and Science sections. So, that's it then. Swine flu as a threat to humanity is no more.
Talk about storms in teacups...

Just wait a few months, when the regular autumn/winter flu season starts it'll be back with menaces

I suspect the ordinary forms of seasonal flu will still outshine the porcine variant in total numbers it kills, though.

Oh absolutely, although regular flu is nowhere near sensational enough to warrant newspaper volume dedicated to it, so I bet the porcine variety is all we'll actually hear about ..... </cynic>

Don't mention epidemics or pandemics to me until ebola gets airborne. THEN I'll worry!!
