Well, if you believe what you read on eBay anyway.
2.66GHz x 4 cores = 10.64GHz.
Who writes these listings, seriously?

Old news, mate
tbh, I don't think that I'd go near ANY of these systems on ebay. They are either built by complete k**bs who don't know what they are talking about or built by complete k**bs aiming the systems at complete n00bs who don't know enough to realise that they are built by k**bs.
Either way, these ads always seem to try and baffle with bull[LIFTED] and don't seem to give a simple straightforward spec.
I have looked through them in the past and couldn't spot an out and out scam, but I wouldn't be surprised if the buyer gets the impression that a GTX260 graphics card is supplied when it comes with on-board graphics.

Ebay seems not to care about these fraudulent listings. There are loads of them.

No, they know full well what they're doing. They're relying on the people who view the listings being complete idiots and falling for their scam.

Because the way I mean it, it is very rude. Yeah, it's the buyers who are the knobs but that isn't their fault. They are prey for the predators on ebay.

Does this mean I could list my dual Xeon PC as being 9.6GHz? Two CPU's running at 2.4GHz with two cores each...

Hi, does that mean my old q6600 can be listed @18.4ghz, and yes these sort of adds should be banned.

Could you add on the clock of the GPU to make it a 20GHz machine, or similar?

I should go and see what the Physics Department's supercomputer is running at in the Server Room. I reckon it might just win
