Hi,

I'm sad this morning. I broke my earphones :'(

I had some Sony Ericsson Walkman in-ear bud things spliced onto the ends of some Apple iPod earphones as the cable was longer, and I hate the ones that come with the iPod. And these worked pretty well until I sucked them up the hoover.

So now I'm after some of the in-ear phones that are cheapish (nothing over about £25 or so) and will give me decent sound quality for the price.

Thanks!

Well I'm very happy with my Shures, but don't think they make any within your budget.

+1 for the CX300 especially as they're so cheap at the moment.

Ditto.

Just don't dunk them in a mug of tea.

I couldn't stand the Apple buds, they kept falling out of my ears every 30 seconds...

I got some Sennheiser CX299s, which I'm fiarly happy with. Still don't like in-ear types, but they are reasonably comfortable.

Oooh, might have a look into those. They look cool!

I think I'm going to go for some CX300s. I'm going to London for my Mums birthday this weekend, so I'll have a look in some of the shops there.

If you're down on Saturday remember to pop past the meetup for a lemonade.

Hehe!

I'm in London on Saturday, but only between 8 and 9am and Waterloo and St Pancras.

I have a set of Sennheiser CX300s I opened but never used as I didn't realise they were asymmetric and I'm not keen on that

Yours for £7 total (delivery included) if you want them :)

I bought some CX300's and for the money think they're amazing. They were £30 when I got them and even at that price I thought they were a bargain.

The cheapest Shures are rubbish too. Sennhesier make OK cheap earphones, bit muffled but you can't complain for £30.
