The only reason the BBC didn't escalate this into a major controversy is their newsreaders can't appear to decide if it's cONtroversy or controVERSy.

I just think it's another one of these thinly veiled imperialist things. Surely, as long as we understand each other, that's all that matters? Say that, Linux is right, maybe some lighter discussion is no bad thing these days.
