I been upgrading some PC parts over the last week and a house mate just asked to buy the stuff off of me but I am not sure of the price - and suggestions would be helpful

I have given google a go and not found any second hand prices either via ebay

so he are the parts

only one month old nvidia 250 1GB Ram 216 version - paid 135 - I was thinking of 100 pounds?

Antec 900 case - again 2ish years old - I am thinking of upgrading to the 1200 - I was thinking of 50 pounds?

The house mate been talking to the next door and he just pop round and asked if he could buy my:

Samsung 22" 226bw screen - got no idea of price - it 2ish years old - just up graded to the 26" version thats HD - I would have kept the 22" if it could play HD programs etc - got not clue on price

like a good person I still have all the boxes and bills etc

I can link some prices for preowned nvidia GTS 250's.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PALIT-GTS-250-1GB-MEMORY-GTS250_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem1c0b91041bQQitemZ120453137435QQptZUKQ5fComputingQ5fComputerQ5fComponentsQ5fGraphicsQ5fVideoQ5fTVQ5fCardsQ5fTWQQsalenotsupported

So, as I dont know brand... the 1st and 3rd links are both 1GB versions. (i know that yours is) however I dont know the brand or other details.. (is 216 a brand? :O)

But I would suggest £90 inc P&P as the price for eBay, however just remember you would lose like 10% in fees and extra for rec P&P. But thats just my outlook. Maybe £100 with a best offer if you use eBay.

The antec 900 needs to be pick up only however you shift it, otherwise you lose the sale price in P&P. If you have extra fans (I got 3 free with mine as extras due to problems in antec production line, sold them for £30 lol) or added extras then think about either bundling or selling.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/antec-900-nine-hundred-case_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4a998e9c68QQitemZ320403840104QQptZUKQ5fComputingQ5fDesktopComponentsQ5fRLQQsalenotsupported

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Antec-900-PC-Case_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem23021ba05eQQitemZ150359220318QQptZUKQ5fComputingQ5fDesktopComponentsQ5fRLQQsalenotsupported

Seeing as the case price has risen due to the dollar, I would suggest £50 + £10 P&P (check P&p costs before selling, 'cos this seems low) should you choose. Which isnt a bad return for a 2nd hand items. Just dont say how old, if its good condition then put that...

Dont know where you are attempting to sell, but thats my take...

(dont know nything bout monitors so cant help you there :) )

me and the house mate seems to come to an agreement - 150 pounds for the case and card

I just gone from a 8800 640mb to a 250 - I did not like it so I brought the 285 hence it only 4-8 weeks old thats why I want to sell it

the 250 came in two version I have the updated version it has 128 Stream Processors and higher clock and memory speed etc - it the updated version of this one

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/spec ... l?NOV-2501

I found a new price for the screen you can buy it new for 250-280 pounds - I paid 300 pounds 2 years ago - so it not come down in price that much - it a brilliant screen but you can not play blue-ray on it - I was thinking 150 pounds?

A GTS250 1Gb can be had for under £100 new on Ocerclockers. It might not be the same version as yours but still.... Even the Zotac AMP! edition (higher clock speeds) is £108 brand new.

Getting £150 for the case and gfx card... I think you've done well to be honest! For £169.98 I could get a GTS250 and Antec 900 brand new lol

The Warranty is void if you're a second-hand owner BTW.

Hm, I haven't heard. I also think it's weird that the EU would be looking into this, when they're pushing consumer rights. I.e. Your rights under contract when something breaks, rather than relying on the manufacturer and warranty.

Oh and just for clarification if you sold the monitor and then sent it back under warranty for repair yourself that's technically fraud. :)

Then why ask how much it is worth if you don't want to sell it?

Means nothing unless you have a transferrable warranty...which you don't
