Only time I saw him out and about in the Cotswolds, he was driving a bog standard Citroen. And yes, he is tiny :)

A four car pile up?!

There's nothing like over exaggerating a head line is there.

This sounds like your run of the mill bumper to bumper accident to me. Nothing like a pile up.

Anyway, that's one hell of a car to crash. My first reaction was "Ooooooh!" and that was when I saw what car it was.

I'm sure he (or his insurance) can afford the repairs though.

Actually, the thing about it that surprises me is they're letting someone who recently had a serious a brain injury as he's had take flying lessons. I mean, what happens if he had a blackout or something in the air? Is he going to have to fly with a copilot, even after he qualifies?

I wonder what May thinks about it after all the moaning he did about that Cessna in the plane vs Veyron race?

If he's medically fit I don't see why he can't fly solo? If you're going to start going down the road of "what if" then that can only end badly.

He probably has as much chance of a sudden brain hemorrhage as anyone else. However, as MRI scans aren't mandatory for getting a pilot's license, his brain may be a risk, but it's a known risk - it has probably been scanned quite extensively during his time in hospital. He's also spent a lot of time cycling and getting fit, so he's probably less likely to have a heart attack at 5000 feet too.
