I already said, yours is my favourite entry so far It's suitably cheeky, and it would work well.

Of the three colours, I prefer the blue one.

I think it's an excellent signature or banner-ad, but I'm not sure about using the Dennis (C) titles on the actual forum.

Well the actual Dennis logos have been replaced with text, so legally it should be ok.

Unfortunately I don't have any photoshop or nowt otherwise I'd put together a nice crusty pie in a metal tin, shot looking down at an angle with x404 cut into the crust. Steam for effect.
Mmm, pie-based logo....

Like it, much better with the X in the magnifying glass. If you have time, maybe try adding the .co.uk part somewhere (maybe where the strap line currently is?) I like the typeface - could you tell us what it is please? I recognise it, but can't remember the name! Just a thought... Maybe if anyone is a copywriter or is just good with words, they could come up with a list of suggestions for strap lines, then we could take a vote of that as well? My personal opinion is that there doesn't really need to be reference to CPC, MacUser etc, as if this site grows as I'm sure it will do, they wouldn't necessarily want to be associated with those sites anymore. Maybe just something suitably techy or general would be better?

Yeah, I agree. If I've got time I'll work it up a bit, think the x could be a touch larger in the magnifying glass. Plus I'll do it with the.co.uk in it like you suggested. Yeah, I hadn't used it for a while myself, it's TheSerifBoldPlain. From FontFont, I think.

If only I had the software.... I knew that Graphic Design course would provide me with an idea at some point in my life. Thinking of which, that was the last time I used a Mac, about 15-20 years ago....

OK, this is conceptual rather than outright flippant – the melting pot of ideas... 180px: 360px: Feel free to modify/plagiarise etc as you wish, of course all colours/fonts shapes are variable to suit consensus. Everything is vector so completely scaleable, pm me if you want editable pdfs to play with... ps: methinks that perhaps an extension of the deadline (maybe a week) might allow for other latecomers to the party to add input/suggestions/modifications? I know what I've put up is rubbish, but my hope is that it might just nudge a few shy ones to add their efforts – one never knows what might emerge from such an environment does one?
