Marvellous weather here at the moment. After 5 days of continuous sunshine, it's now cold, wet and windy. Lovely. :D

Yesterday was absolutely bloody boiling!

Drove to Poole Quay to go and have a little stroll along the water-front and check out the sunseekers. They're bloody fantastic machines! If I were a billionaire I would definitely buy at least one! :D

Today is nice too, but not as hot. I prefer it how it is today! No sweating, no glare from the sun. No bikinis though. :P

I took the beginning of this week off and guess what - it rained. I'm beginning to think that every time I take time off, it rains.

So, if anyone is planning holidays the first week in September, don't. I'm on holiday that week so it'll probably rain.

You have been warned :D

Was beautiful here yesterday and I had the day off, so I went to the beach :D

Went in the water in just my shorts and then my mate, who was wearing a wetsuit, handed me his surfboard and said, "Go for it!"
It's only the second time I've ever attempted to surf, and I still couldn't stand up, but I had a great time. I love the weather being sunny and warm and I hope it stays like it for the weekend.

This week's been great. Hope it lasts to the weekend. Currently in the office in shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops.

I've used up all my water in my water butt watering my brambles, so could do with some rain in Ipswich... don't think it's rained for over 2 weeks now.

Warm here (24°C), just finished vacuuming the floor and washing it (tiles throughout the flat), so rather hot and sticky...

Wet, wet, wet here in Fife. Shaping up like last summer which will have the local farmers moaning again. They had a tough time getting the harvest in at all and spent a lot of money drying sub standard grain (mostly harvested late due to difficulties getting combines into the fields without bogging down) to get it saleable at all. Another year like that we don't need. Like others getting the lawn mowed, some holes in the drive patched with cement and so on is proving rather difficult. Oh well. The joys of British weather.

Richard.

Just got back from Flamborough Head; been camping up there for the last week.

We had absolutely glorious weather, not even a hint of rain.

Problem is, I seem to have gone all brown-ish; and it won't wash off!!

Tis a real worry for a pastey-faced geek.
