Hi Guys,
Got a wee problem with a runtime error with Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library in explorer.exe
Anyone got advice on how I can sort this? it started with one file doing it whenever I open it now it just does it when I start up, I cant even delete the file because the runtime error pops up.
I appreciate any help with this as its doing my nut it lol. ( would have fixed it already but I dont get the net at home until tomorrow)
Cheers
Kal

Usually something dodgy in the Send To list or on the context menu itself...
Try removing any add-ins which have installed themselves to the context menu and clear out the Send To folder in All Users and the logged in user. If that solves the problem, add them back in until the culprit is found.

The Context menu is the one you get when you right click on a file etc.
Anything in there, like a zipper, Nero, Tortoise SVN etc. If you have anything other than the standard list of entries in this menu, try removing them.

I removed them but its still doing the same thing. There was a zipper in there but its gone now and I restarted and the error pops up before I even do anything. Cheers

Do a Start / Run and then type eventvwr and hit enter. Look through the application section for any errors, it'll often tell you the exe that's causing the problem.
