Hi all,

After a bit of advice, per usual.

My sister has now got adell inspiron laptop (just how these things work out.. something about wanting a coloured top, plus at £400 I supose it could be forgiven).

Anyway, she is off to uni soon and needs a security cable to secure it when she goes out or when she is at a desk etc.

So anyone got some advice as to which ones fit and would be alright?

(also if anyone can think of a cheapish one for my HP 550 it would be nice).

Thanks,
Alex.

(budget is probably anywhere up to £25 ea.)

I have a Kensington MicroSaver cable for my Mac, it also fits my ThinkPad x32, my brother Acer thingy and a friends Dell. I think they are all standard TBH.
Mine has a key, it's not a combination...

Amazon - £17.99

I got my on eBay though and paid about £7...

Kensington really is THE name in this area - hence the little fitting hole for security cables is called a Kensington Lock...
